In the context of the coronavirus outbreak, many people contacted us with questions related to how Foyer Global Health insurance plans are covering COVID-19 infection. We fully understand this is a major concern for most of you and here is a clear and official statement on it.
If you are already a client of Foyer Global Health then we cover all expenses related to:
-
- Tests
- Treatments
- Possible complications resulting in an evacuation
When tested positive, we will simply reimburse all medically necessary expenses related to the disease, meaning treatments that are necessary to cure or alleviate the disease. This is what we do for COVID-19, as well as for any other diseases.
There is no limit of coverage and reimbursement for COVID-19.
If you are not yet a client of Foyer Global Health, but intend to become one soon:
- If you have not been tested positive before contracting with us then you are fully covered as stated above
- If you have been tested positive before contracting with us then we will not be able to cover expenses related to coronavirus infection
This is the exact same procedure as with any other pre-existing disease, no difference here. Foyer Global Health values transparency, therefore, as stated in our Terms and Conditions, we cover all diseases and what is not insured is expressively mentioned as an exclusion.
Do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions. We can be reached via phone, WhatsApp, email and via our client portal. We will be happy to assist you whenever you need.
PS: we came across a live dashboard with day-to-day figures on the coronavirus epidemic from WHO & the John Hopkins University. We hope that you will find it useful.
